CHRISTMAS A COMMERCIAL DATE OR RELIGIOUS PRACTICE?
Christmas is mostly known as a espiritual holiday where it is celebrated the birth of JesusChrist and the meaning of this.
Christmas has been celebrated based in gifts under the tree, lights in the windows, turkey dinners,etc. Christmas for the world has become a commercial date in which companies all arounnd the world take advantage of this celebration to make money, in other words the essence of the celebration has been forgotten because superficial interests. Many times Christmas is not what people hope for because they dont have the money to buy their children, wife or parents a gift and make this especial holiday a sad date for them.
Christmas is not a season of regret or sorrow is a season of joy and love is a religious practice known for centuries that tries to transmit that God is always with us, that the birth of Jesus means that we are forgiven. Is the time of the year to express our love and thank him for or all the blessings recived becomig a time of healing and renewed strength.
Christmas shows in a beautiful way the path of Joseph and Mary as parents of Jesus and the miracle and sacrifice of love that God send.
We can truly be happy depending on the way we look Christmas, for me their is a reason to celebrate and that whole commercial date thing is just a very little part of something so big.
