Human Rights in Colombia and all over the world
Human rights
are as old as human civilizations, that are focused on protecting all of the
rights of a human being. This human rights are managed by the United Nations.
Human rights
are the ethical and moral principles that are against to any harm that can be
caused to a human being, off-course it has it warnings.
Human rights
have being divided into categories civil and political rights and economic,
social and cultural rights.
Unfortunately
Colombia’s human rights are known for being contradictory with the laws and
agreements, but even though Colombia has this little problems, it is a country
that tries to enface in what particularly makes special a human being. It recognizes
special rights for indigenous populations, it allows citizens to take legal
action against the state, the citizens are well protected, but still is part of
the 20 “countries of concern”.
Human rights
in all the countries of the world are very similar since they are based on
fundamental rights that might change based on each country tradition, culture
or preference.
Human Rights
have changed over the years and had made a great impact in society, nowadays
freedom has another meaning. Women are now able to vote, there is acceptation
between people of color and there is not more discrimination between sexes.
Human rights
are the basis for a good relation between countries, are the main rules that
have to be followed to achieve peace. Human rights are just the steps to empower
everybodies lives. The concept of Human rights is based on the principle of
human solidarity, cooperation, development and access of all to the common
heritage of humankind.
The right of
being human is granted to everyone and everyone
deserve to have it.
